Warm as toast....in winter boots

I don't know about you, but in winter, I have those days when it's so cold, I just don't want to get out of bed. Even the thought of going to the kitchen to get a hot drink can make me feel like burying my head under the covers. So actually getting up, going outside, and walking down the street - well, let's say it's not all that appealing. One of the worst things about winter is cold feet. When my feet are cold, I feel miserable. I think going out is torture. I feel as though I would like to stay inside, sit around the fire and read a good book until the weather changes.

Boots help when times are chilly, and particularly at the moment, when fashions have changed, and people are cuffing their trousers. Boots fill up the gap between foot and cuff. Boots make me feel as though winter might not be all that bad. My nose may be cold, but my feet are taken care of. As fashions change, however, so has my choice of boots. I used to be a fan of riding boots. They were easy to wear with skinny jeans tucked into them, and they kept the sleek appearance of the outfit. However, as trouser styles change, cuffs have re - emerged, and boyfriend jeans are everywhere, I've found Mou boots the perfect way to stay warm.

Mou boots are sheepskin, and they have rubber soles which help with walking on icy ground. When the temperature is next to zero, sheepskin boots with thick, woolly socks, boyfriend jeans and an over-sized jersey just scream comfort. After wearing these boots for a couple of weeks, I began to wonder why I'd ever worn anything else. Sure, people say you can't wear them to a dinner party. Why would you? To a dinner party, you wear a whole different outfit, if you wear boots at all. Mou sale were never meant to be formal.

They were meant to be warm, comfortable and embracing during times when the weather is deathly cold. They are there to make winter feel enjoyable. Wearing Mou boots makes you feel as though you are walking on a marshmallow, even though the pavements are freezing. They go well with a parka, and they have the feeling of quality which adds to an outfit. The fur trims bring interest, so you might want to keep the rest of your outfit simple. If you're like me, and you've only heard of Mou boots sale recently, go out and try a pair. On cold days, you will love them beyond belief. And forget the people who tell you that you should be wearing sandals or corporate wear in winter.

Forget those who don't know what it means to wear boots. We are not there to be models for Paris fashion week. Winter is a time to be practical, to be warm, and to make it through the days in comfort. To all those without a pair of Mou boots sale - you're going to have cold feet.

How to choose the perfect winter boots

It isn't easy to find the amazingly perfect pair of winter boots. Both online and local stores provide a wide range of options to choose from. In order to make the right decision about the winter boots, you need to be clear on what do you want out of your boot or the function you want your boot to perform. If you are clear on this it will be easier for you to select among the prettiness of a boot against its performance in various conditions.

Criteria 1: Comfort and Expense

Do you plan on walking a long distance on snow using the snow boots on regular basis or you are going to use them rarely for short distance or short periods. Depending on how much time you are going to spend wearing them you need to decide how comfortable they are supposed to be.

You will invest more money in the boots if you are going to use them too often. Also, they must be very comfortable. You may select average! Less expensive and less comfortable pair of boots i available, if you are going to use them for special occasions only.

Criteria 2: Insulated! Un-insulated

You need to consider how much warm do you want your feet to be in winter snow. Do you want your feet to be too warm or just medium warm? Depending upon this you can use insulation in the boots. You can also consider a boot that comes with removable linings so that you can remove! Put the lining! Insulation when the temperature is too low and when you want your feet to stay warmer.

More or less insulation you need depends on how you are going to use your boots. lf you are going to travel long distance on foot traversing through snow for hours, your body will generate a lot of heat, in this case, the insulation level will vary. So please take this into consideration while choosing insulation level for the boot.

Criteria 3: Waterproof boots?

Majority of people will go for waterproof boots so that their feet do not get wet while walking through snow. Waterproof boots are less attractive. They are not designed too well or stylish. On the other hand, stylish boots are not waterproof. In this case, you can take a center way by going for semi waterproof boots who have both the properties of being waterproof and attractive.

Criteria 4: Rise or No rise

Taller boots can protect you from high snow levels. Also, ankle support is better in taller boots. The flexibility of movement will not be better in taller boots, shorter boots will be the right choice for ease of movement, putting them on and taking them off.

Taller boots will protect your whole foot and ankle from the snow. Some of the tall boots are also flexible at times but some are not. Please prioritize your requirements and go for them accordingly.

Criteria 5: Fashion Vs Function

The cutest looking boots do not fulfill the comfort quotient but may be they are the right ones for you. Similarly, the most comfortable pair may not be that attractive but still be right for you. Depending upon what function do you want your boot to perform they may be right or wrong for you.

So depending upon usage, try to find a pair that looks fine and is also comfortable so that you can wear it outdoor during the winter.
